Dear Readers of my comment,
Please go to www.amazon.com and buy a copy of the 1982 book, “The Dieter’s Dilemma.”
There is a very simple reason diet programs, like Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, and Nutri-System, are all doomed to fail for fat people. People are not fat or thin because of how much, or how little they eat. When fat people try to lose weight, their bodies outwit their efforts by slowing down their metabolisms to put all the weight right back on, and then some.
On the other hand there are model-thin people, because they are fortunate enough to inherit the right genes, eat the equivalent of a chocolate-elephant everyday and never gain a single pound!
This is because people are fat or thin by what genes they inherit. At this point in time there is only one guaranteed way to be thin: have thin parents! I am all for efforts to save endangered wildlife species, rain forests, wetlands an other conservation efforts. But because it is desperately needed for medical science to find a real cure obesity, is why I hate the animal rights movement, like P.E.T.A.! Because these insane fanatics want to stop all necessary medical research that needs the use of live animals.
As a fat person myself, I have struggled often with these kind of weight loss failures. But as if that were not bad enough, my family has often punished and tormented me, for the obesity genes my parents imposed on me, by bringing me into the world like this, in the first place!
But there is hope. Scientists are already using mice in genetic experiments to help find a real cure for obesity and for other medical diseases and conditions, that need a real cure. Google in the organization "Americans for Medical Progress’, a progressive organization that is fighting the animal right movement.
I love animals, but to all animal rights s.o.b.s. who happen to read my comment, don’t ask me to go against medical research that needs the use of live animals. That is too much to ask! Another thing you animal rights fanatics had better get straight, if it were not for research using the Rhesus Monkey to help develop the polio vaccine, you might have been reading my comment with a polio leg brace on your legs, or in a polio iron lung!
